About the SAFE-STONES team

The SAFE-STONES trial is run by a team of urologists, research nurses and methodologists working across NHS centres in the UK.

This page is being written. Biographies of the trial team will appear here before recruitment opens. If you would like to know who is running the study in the meantime, ask your local team — their contact details are in the app once you have signed in, and on your invitation letter.

Local Principal Investigators

Each participating centre has its own Principal Investigator. They are responsible for the study at that hospital, and they or their team are who you will meet.

Sites to be added as they open.

The trial has a sponsor responsible for its conduct, an independent Data Monitoring Committee that reviews safety, and a Clinical Safety Officer for the app itself.

Patient and public involvement

Patients who have had kidney stones have helped shape this study — what it asks, how often, and how the app works.

If anything here is out of date, tell the study team — this page is maintained by them, not by the app.
