Add SAFE-STONES to your phone
You can add SAFE-STONES to your home screen so it opens like an app, with its own icon and no address bar.
There is nothing to download and no app store account needed — it installs straight from this website, and updates itself whenever we release a change.
Reading this on a computer?
Point your phone’s camera at this code to open this page on the phone — that is where the app has to be added.
Or type: safestonestrial.com/install
Your browser can install it directly — no need for the steps below.
Installed. Look for the SAFE-STONES icon on your home screen.
iPhone or iPad
Use Safari — this does not work in Chrome on an iPhone.
- Open this page in Safari.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- Tap “Add” in the top right.
Android
- Open this page in Chrome.
- Tap the three dots in the top right.
- Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
- Tap “Install” to confirm.
Computer
In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar, then “Install”. You can also just use the website — nothing is missing from it.
If this is an emergency, call 999 or go to A&E.
SAFE-STONES is not monitored 24 hours a day and must never be used to report an emergency. Phone calls work without internet.
It needs an internet connection. The app opens the same secure service as the website, so it needs to be online to work. If you open it with no signal it will tell you, and nothing you type will be sent until you are connected again.
Nothing is stored on your phone. Your answers are saved to the trial’s secure system, not to your device — so nothing of yours is left behind if you remove the app or lose your phone.
To remove it, press and hold the icon and choose Remove or Uninstall, exactly like any other app.
